About the Tascam DM-24

For those of you who are not familiar with the Tascam DM-24, I must tell you that it is an amazing digital console. A 32-track 24-bit digital mixer designed to be used with other Tascam 24-bit digital equipment, it has all digital and analog inputs assignable. Each channel on the DM-24 has 4-band parametric EQ, compression, gate, expander and digital trim and delay dynamics processing. The mixer has Antares microphone and speaker modeling as well has two separate effects engines made by TC Works (TC Electronics). Any effect from the effects library can be loaded into either effects engine, and they may be connected in series if desired. All of this, and the mixer contains full on-board automation for mixdowns as well as snapshot library recalls for different set-ups. This mixer is the most exciting and the most sought after piece of studio equipment in the world for it's price range. And there is a new product out called the DM-32. Interconnect and Patch Cabling

All interconnect and patch cabling has been custom made using Canare Star Quad^TM cable, the best audio cable in the world. This is better than Monster cable. Read the Star Quad story and you'll understand why.

Any routing not performed through the DM-24 is through a DBX PB-48 TRS patch bay.
